Soto’s Pirates
A very pirate-like four-note phrase played on a variety of both string and wind instruments, representing pirates (and those similar to pirates) throughout the series..
Misako
A serene flute melody used to represent Lloyd’s mother. Its main body is two five-note phrases with slight note variations.
The Overlord
An incredibly ominous melody played on all manner of strings representing the Overlord, most notably characterized by the two sets of descending half-steps a fifth apart. The leitmotif returns in Rebooted with a more electronic feel, and also much later in Crystalized, which uses just about every possible variation of the main four notes to create new melodies, all staying very emblematic of the Overlord.
The Stone Army
A heavily percussive twelve-note theme with loud, pulsing horns and intense drumming, representing the indestructible Stone Army. Later in Sons of Garmadon, it occasionally appears to represent the giant stone colossus.
