About Us

The Ninjago Soundtrack Catalog is a fan-created website dedicated to the categorization of various musical themes, leitmotifs, and in the future, cues of the franchise Ninjago.

This project arose in the spring of 2020 when Zena Airale and Sathasiless began work on converting a Ninjago leitmotif catalog Google Drive into a website powered by Weebly, but the project died down quickly. In November 2020, Gry and Ninjago-Fan (NinFan) joined the team and revitalized the project, helping add the page structure and the descriptions that you see today. On January 14, 2021, Sathasiless received an invitation from Ninjago composer Jay Vincent to discuss the site. This resulted in a series of four interviews, the fourth with Michael Kramer as well, where much of the site was confirmed and approved by composers.

Our Team

Gry

Hi, I’m Gry, and I’m mainly responsible for both designing and setting up the logistics of this website. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music, tinkering with tech, and reading all types of novels.

Ninjago-Fan

Hey all, I’m Ninjago-Fan (Ninfan for short), the primary description writer for this site. Spend a little time with me and you’ll quickly discover I’m a massive fan of sci-fi and fantasy stories, like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, the Cosmere, Bionicle, and, of course, Ninjago, among many others. I also love all sorts of creativity such as writing, drawing, MOCing, and making stop-motion animations, but what drew me to help out on this project is my love for music and soundtracks, especially Ninjago’s. Hope you find this log useful!

Sathasiless

Hello, I’m Sathasiless. I was reintroduced to Ninjago in late 2019 and have been part of the community since then, with particular interest in the soundtrack and identifying the different leitmotifs. Spring of 2020 is when I first had the idea of making a proper leitmotif log (still more of a list at the time), which Zena Airale immediately started fleshing out with the idea of a site as well as a discord server for working on it. I most notably edit the audio examples and pinpoint/find less distinct leitmotifs, although I also do a lot of analyzing how leitmotifs are used in the soundtrack and have written/thought about writing a few analyses for some of the most detailed tracks.

Zena Airale

Hey, I’m Zena Airale. I enjoy photography, videography, pottery, multimedia, graphic design, writing, skiing and swimming. I love to give back to my community through service. I’m also one of the founders of Ninjago: Realm of Harmony, a project to make fansongs and accompanying multimedia and just really into soundtracks in general. Ninjago has been my hyperfixation and special interest for a really long time (since 2012), and I’ve found much joy in being a fan of it.

I’m one of the website designers and description editors.
